I've been bad, I haven't been writing. You would think that now i'm done school i would have more time, but I'm actually spendign less time on-line...which is impressive. I'm also waking up at absurdly early times...like 7 or 8am! It's strange...I'd like to think that i'm still just living on British time.

There were a couple of things I wanted to write, I forget now. HA! I really am getting old. Ummm....oh yea, one site i found through Canoe was this Bookscrossing site...it tells you to 'free your books'...what you do is you print out their book crossings id and put it in your book and then leave it out somewhere for someone to find, apparently it's becoming a world wide thing. It's pretty interesting. Go check it out. I've been doing soooooooooooo much reading now that I have nothign to do. I was reading Fight Club for a while...I usually finish books really quickly but i read this slowly and I watched the DVD maybe 30 times in one week, and I finally picked up Shanghai Baby, a book that I've been wanting to read forever...first i had to wait for it to come to Canada, then i waited for it to come out in softcover. I never usually read books through twice right away, but I did this one, it really enjoyed it. Next i picked up A Thousand Secret Senses by Amy Tan, it was really creepy and sad, but it was obsessive at the same time, i couldn't put it down. What else did i read? Something else....oh I also read Where the Heart is, one of them books from the Opera Book club! It was a nice light read. OH! I remember now...I read Shadow Puppetts the continuatin of Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game series. It was great becuase it was another Ender book, but I also was a little dissapointed. I think the series is beginning to drag, but at the same time I love it so much, I'll still read it. Ender's Game is one of my favourites.

Wow, i'm getting totally off topic here. I was going to link some pictures to some art that a friend did for me, but I'll do that next time. They're pics fo alternate universe Obi-Wan for an alternate universe star wars that I was working on. WAS being the key word there. This is getting long so I'll shut up now! I'll write about my encounter with the One-armed man next time!

So the wedding was a bust. It was a wonderful wedding, but I became ill. :( We had to leave early.

So was avoiding the freaking sept11 stuff hard or what? Every site, every newspaper, every channel, every radion station was talking about it. Thank goodness blogger had nothing about it! And that's all I'm gonna say about it!

Today I was at Eaton Centre before work and I ran into someone that I knew but I coudln't remember her name. She looked really nice and we chatted for a while, but I totally didn't remember her name. Then later I was walking through the mall and I heard someone call my name...and i was thinking...oh no...it's her and I still can't think of her name! But it was someone that I was on the Sussex trip with! That was very exciting. We chatted a bit, and I'll see her again tomorrow at the reunion they are having for us. Hey, free refreshments! I'm there...that's dinner for me.

I've been trying to figure out what to wear to this wedding that we are going to on saturday. I have no idea! It's still warm, but it's after labour day. So you're thinking okay it's summer...but it's fall...even though technically it's not fall, one tends to think that it is fall after labour day. You know what i mean? I know I'm crazy. But the days are still hot but the nights get cooler, and the sun goes down sooner. It's already getting dark around 7:30-8...before you know it the sun will be gone at 4 again and we'll just have those 3 hours of day light...but i'm getting ahead of myself here. I don't know what ot wear. fall? summer? dress? suit? skirt? what dress? this dress? taht dress? what shoes? it's quite irritating.
