My wallet is missing!!! :( Panic attack! I think I might know where it is, in a Zellers bag somewhere. But not in my home. I had a panic attack at work today looking for my wallet (oh by the way, I have a new job...I'm hostessing...I was reading my old blogs and i realized that I've changed 2 or 3 jobs while writing this blog and never really mentioned it). Where is my wallet? Please be in that Zellers bag and not be stolen.

So it's September now and it occurs to me that I have not been telling you what the purchase of the week is now for an age! I've been so distracted by tetris. So I will tell you quickly now what you need to go spend your money on...this is in no particular order:

Original Pirate Material by The Streets--this CD is brilliant....don't download it...buy it, they are so good. You can listen to some of the songs from the CD on their website.

Andy Lee art--go and buy his art. This guy just just amazing, I met him at the Toronto convention (yes that one where i molested Trip and Darth Maul) and he was just the sweetest man. I wish i had money to spend! He had the most amazingly calm aura about him. Get his stuff, it's beautiful! Or visit him if you live in Texas or Ohio...he'll be doing cons there in November. I'm especially partial to his Harley Quinn...my gamer tag on xbox live (it's actually harlyquinn....its the closest I could get!)

The Two Towers DVD...this will fill your obsessing until november when we are blessed with not only the extended version of TT, but the last part to the Matrix. After that it's only a short wait until Return of the King (and after that we only have to wait until 2005 for Star Wars: Episode 3)

Deep Space Nine season 4 dvd set. This season features that lesbian kiss, the little green men episode, the debute of Worf, the episode that always makes me cry where Sisko dies and Jake spends the rest of his life trying to save him (yea i know that sounds confusing but I know you know the one I mean), and the one where Odo is stuck as a solid. It's good. Go get it!

Volume 1 of David Mack's Kabuki series (Circle of Blood)...I've only read vol. 1 so that's why I'm recommending it. When I bought it Mack (who like Andy Lee was also a sweet man) threw in some newer issues of Kabuki and it was amazing to see how the art developed and how it's matured. But go to your local comic book store and pick it up. Or better yet visit his site and order it. Even though he did not respond to my post on his message board :( he is so polite to the others at his site. He most likely will be at the Cons that Andy will be at in November.
