My birthday is in a week. I'm not looking forward to it. I asked Tom if I could reject it, and he said that was possible, but it would still happen. On the other hand, Fish pointed out to me, that it's going to be my early mid-twenties, so that comforted me slightly.

My birthday present to my self is two cartons of cigarettes, my little bro, Kel, said he wanted to order cigarettes from the internet and we both decided we would splurge on some fancy imports. I got mysef Davidoff Ultra Lights, and YSL menthol lights 100s. I can't wait to sit around my house and smoke them. Not that i'm advocating smoking, it's really bad for you. In case you missed Oprah yesterday, they had specimens on, a cancerous lung was among them. Dr. Oz says that cancer cells are "sociopath cells" (i'm just quoting Dr. Oz), that don't know how to share space with normal cells (who are just tryign to survive). I think the point of the show was to gross me out, but i quite enjoyed it, the lungs looked like that pink insulation in your basement, and when they were cutting away the excess fat on this one guy during an autopsy, i had this amazing urge to fry up some bacon. I swear it's all i could smell. Mmmm...bacon.

I really got to get out of the house some more.

man, when things go bad they go bad!!!!! stupid snow, stupid period, stupid broken toilet. Even my horoscope was stupid. On the other hand I did get my kitchen lights fixed. And I did a lot of knitting.

Check out Starsailor, a Brit band that I've been listening to while 'studying'. Checked out most of their show last night, it was really exciting, they sounded great live! Especially the parts where they were talking with their accents.

I had a couple of things to say but I forget them now. I remember one was about Sam Roberts...how could i possibly forget about him. My msn name is current I love Sam Roberts. Go buy his CD and listen to it a million times. He is a genius.

So the new quit smoking day has been set for Feb 8th, 2004, a day after my birthday. I must be nagged about quitting...so everyone e-mail me to nag me!

I'll be heading out for the first time in four days. I'm nervous that I might not be able to breathe regular oxygen, I suppose we'll find out!
