It's funny because it's true...I had to laugh at Douchebag's voicemail message today. I've heard it a million times over, in fact so have you if you've ever called my mobile. It's the same message. When it got to the part where he says, "I am unavailible...", I started laughing and thought, true dat. I wonder why I never noticed it until now?

no sleepThe heavens are conspiring to not let me sleep. I fell asleep with my face in a new book I woke up to a strange beeping noise, my stupid fuckign phone was acting up again. I got up and went to go see what was going on, in the midst of malfucntioning there was a call coming in. The dreaded telephone number. I was angry, having been woken from my sleep, and especially angry that this person had been the one to do the waking. After slamming the phone around and taking out soem aggression on it...I turned off the lights and went back to bed. As I attempted to calm myself the phone rang again! Just cos you're drunk doesn't mean it's okay to call your exes in the middle of the night. It took all my strength not to get on the phone and go into one of my famous spoiled only child tirades. Despite lack of sleep logic prevailed and I refused to award these nocturnal telephonic distrubances with any attention at all. (except for to curse him here and other places on the internet as well).

Clearly, she is insaneI have been obessivly reading the Ender series. I'm nearing the end of the second-last book, I predict that I'll be done in a few hours. I've already read the first three chapters of the new book off of Card's website. It was very exciting. I can't stop reading. I barely even sleep. I'm begining to take on my alter ego of Skeletor (whom I closely resmeble when I'm not sleeping)

woo hooI finally got more than 5 hours sleep last night and I was woken up by a call from Junky this morning. She was informing me that I had won her draw and would be down later with my prize and some treats. The treats were Boosts; my fave Brit chocolate bars (which were eerily preceeded by a txt from the Brit ex). We went out to the bookstore and I saw that the next book in the Ender series is out. Junky pried it out of my hands and I left it on the shelf (it's still hardcover), but I'm happy to know that it's out there. I love Orson Scott Card's writing.
I also found a cheapo printer today, so I can stop buggging Milla to print things for me. When I got home and remembered that printers never come with the frigging cables I panicked for a moment and actually cracked open the instruction manual. Then I realised that any usb cable could be used and found one and plugged it in. I now have wireless printing capabilities. Mac is wonderful.
I was slightly alarmed last night when I tuned into American Idol last night I didn't see my man Constantine. I wasn't sure if he was still in and wasn't curious enough to look up on line. But there he was tonight and he's off to the next round. Hooray!

movie nightRuby's shoot was cancelled becuase of the flash blizzard that suddenly hit while she was filming last night, so the night turned from one kind of movie night to another. Milla and I retreated to my place to watch the Incredibles and half of Alexander. The Incredibles was amazing. Alexander...the exact opposite. I am fairly familiar with Alexander the Great's history so that helped me in following along...but only minimally. We waited until the first battle scene and when that even sucked ass, we turned the movie off. And what is up with Angelina Jolie's Russian accent in it?
oh and i have to add that even with the abundance of exposed male thigh, the film was still not worth finishing.

oh godwhat was i thinking? I breeched one of my cardinal blog rules: not telling boys about this site. I blame Dodgeball's (hi dodge!) friendliness and the feeling that I can say whatever I want to him. I also blame this pms which is making me loopy. Boston and I got into a discussion about why it was that Eve was punished for the 'apple incident' with the period. My opinion was that snakes should be the one dealing the periods. But Boston countered that snakes have their own issues. I agreed that I would take the woman's issues over snake issues (fear of being eaten by birds, run over by lawn mowers...) but it still sucks ass.
It bothers me that I feel that I can say whatever to Dodge cos that's unfair. I know that ppl get that sense about me and that is where my whole boundaires issue comes into play. I'm a laid back person, and it takes a lot to illicit a response from me (ie. shock, disgust, displeasure, surprise...)...I'll usually respond with some sort of joke. So ppl think that they can say anything to me and sometimes I don't like it. I just don't say anything because that's their opinion and who am I to tell another person how to think or feel? That's where ppl become mistaken about boundaries. My silence or jest is translated to agreement or compassion or understanding. And I get these wierd stalker ppl that won't leave me alone (because I have a deep understanding of their being an accept them for who they are). In this case I'm the wierd person who assumes that she can talk freely because of another person's chill'ness.
There are boundaries. For me and for everyone...i should know this by now!

crazy shitto all of those who I alarmed and confused tonight I apologize. i'm in the middle of some crazy shit. I don't know what is going on. it kidn of started a few days ago with a few bizzare news incidents and I felt this momentum for wierdness building. Today I recieved another bizzare news piece, both scary and interesting. Then the fire alarm went off this afternoon becuase soemthing happened to a boiler in my building and there was smoke and such. And they thought it was a real fire, but it was just a busted boiler. But then the alarm broke and woouldn't shut off, so every few minutes the blaring beeps woudl surprise us. Milla and I fled the building because our eardrums were aching. And then the wierdness just continued into the night. I don't know whats going on. But I need to sleep. But there is too much stuff to digest to sleep. I'm so confused. And I kept on hearing wierd noises all day, there were ppl screaming like they were feral.

Totally unfairThere was an article in Canoe today about this girl who had lost 22% on her project because she had used The Sun's newspaper clippings. Ok, so the Sun doesn't have the best reputation but it's still my homepage when I open up Safari because I think they are fun, interesting, and their articles are quick and to the point. My Daddy used to bring home all the major papers from his office for me to read and I would only skim the others because I they were pretentious. I liked the Sun's layout, lots of pictures, short pieces, and the size of the paper itself. They takes a different approach to their readership. The teacher said that her sources were disreuptable, but the articles the girl used were from the Associated Press and from Reuters, so they would have been stock articles that were in every other newspaper.
So even teachers are working for The Man these days censoring their students and punishing them (22%!!!!!) becuase she didn't use an approved source. Apprently students are only allowed to abosorb certain material that is considered (by whom?) to be the right material. I was under the impresssion that students were supposed to learn how to be discerning and critical. By censoring what they can and can't read students are never going to be able to tell the shit from the substantial. People are supposed to form their own opinions, not be fed certain ones from approved media sources.

superstar!Milla was asked by a friend to read from the Vagina Monologues in a radio show on 88.1fm--Ryerson's radio station. The show was great! I caught the end of the one previous to them and it s-u-c-k-e-d. There was deadair! The quality level totally shot up. I was worried I wouldn't be able to recognize Milla's voice but I caught it right away, her voice was v. radio friendly (read: sexy). T contrast that were her readings which were so powerful and amazing. I had to stop what I was doing and turn the radio up. I say: to Hollywood!

More Rantingthese are in no particular order and are for an assortment of persons (none who read this blog)
Listen, if you call me and I don't answer, don't call me 40 more times. Leave a message and I'll get back to it when I feel like it and if you don't want to leave a message don't listen to my voicemail then hang up. Just hang up so there isn't a messsage of you hanging up.
Don't give Taiwan a bad rap just cos you don't want to move back there for whatever reasons. Taiwan is a totally amazing place, much better than here in many ways. So don't go bad mouthing my island to ppl who don't know any better.
I think you are a close minded fool. Althought I still value your opinion in things you know, I am always sure to get other points of view becuase once you understand something to be one way--that is the way it is. Things change, ppl change, everything changes. Too bad you dont' like it cos taht's the way things are. You need to know all points of view before you formulate your opinions (and act as if they are the law). Don't be afraid of things just cos you 'don't get it'. Find out more.
If science says that there is no additional calcium value to milk they are probably right. Who has been telling you that milk does a body good? The milk folks? The government? The MAN? All of the above. Yes milk is good for you but to a point. Most of the world's population is lactose intolerant. All mammals no longer ingest milk once they are finished nursing. So this just biologically proves that milk is not an essential part of our diet. Western countires see less ppl who are lactose intolerant becuase they have been force fed milk for generations now and humans have adapted. But its not nessiary, there are other wasy to get calcium. Don't be stupid, do some reserach yoruself on how things really are. Just cos that's how you know it doesn't mean it's right. Don't go on TV challenging science with nothing to back up your point. You just look like a moron on national tv.
You have no social skills and a serious staring problem. You also have an attitude problme and you smell so much like Tiger Balm that my whole apartment stinks of it when you are standing in the hallway in front of my door. Your cart is ugly and I feel like I'm living in a fucking hotel. You make so much noise when you are cleaning and you talk on your freaking cell phone when you should be mopping the floor. You carelessly sweep the stairwell so that you wake ppl from a deep sleep. How do you sweep loudly? When the frigging broom is banging against the railing so loud that it sounds like someone is pelting the metal with rocks. You seriously need to be fired and learn some ppl skills.
Don't act like we'r close friends cos we're not. Don't tell me that I can coem to you for anything. You only offer aid under your circumstances and in most cases you cause more issues than you solve. Don't call me asking what is going on with me when there is nothing you can do. You think you know me but you dont' anymore. You knew who i was 6 years ago. Stop acting like you have a deep understanding of who I am cos you don't. This relates to the narrow-minded rant above. I've changed, maybe you haven't. But I have. I have changed so much that I now realise that you are full of shit and that time you called me incessantly freaking out that I was dead or something? That is just a sign of how little you know me now. I've come to realise that although you mean well, we have different ideas on everything--on what friendship should be, on what help is and I don't expect you to have the same opinions and ideas as me in everything. But we don't even have basic things in common anymore.
That is all for now.

what the fuck???I wake up at 5 in the fucking am for no reason, my nose isn't bothering, i dont' seem to have to go pee, i'm warm enough and cool enough, I had no idea what was wrong. I was awake and I wasn't falling asleep again. I pulled my sleep mask back on and rolled around a bit before freaking out and getting up to go pee. When I return I get back into bed and I can feel the grates of the futon digging into me, it's killing me! So I toss and turn until 9am and I fianlly get up.
While I'm in bed I can't stop thinking about annoying things, like this stupid fucking cold that won't go away. About how i have nothing to wear to a job interview tomorrow. About how I'm so unstylish now. About how my futon wants to slowly kill me by displacing all my vertabrae.
Then the sort of half conscious dreaming started. There was one where I was having the a party here and there were people from elementary school here. Again it was that boy that I have the reoccuring dream about , and he was saying to me that 'we have to talk'. I never remember eye colour and I can still see his green eyes (with brown flecks) sparkling at me as he uttered those word. Then there was another dream with a newborn it it. I'm not sure if it was mine (I don't think so) but I was carrying it around and I gave it to some dude (possibly Liam Neeson...it's fuzzy now) and we were sitting on the train with it....err...i mean the baby. There were more but the last one i remember is one where I'm out at a dinner party and someone I admire (i forget who) is asking me all these questions about working and getting a job ect, and then he repeated what Trump said a few weeks ago on TV (and the phrases is still bugging me) something about working hard and not being lazy.
When I came out of the semi-awake dream phase I flipped out and threw everything on my bed on my floor while screaming like someone was murdering me. I was so frustrated. Why the hell did I wake up at 5am? While annoyed I started to think of all the other things that have been annoying the hell out of me. And after getting worked up I finally forced myself just to get up.

proof that I don't always go for the bad boysIt has been sometime since I have spoken about Dodgeball but he is being revived for this topic. I like him a lot, he's just such a good person, and that's so rare these days. There are a handful of ppl who I just think the world of and he's included. It's not even in the I want to jump him sense--it's an over all liking of him as a person.
Anyhow, we were chatting the other day and he mentioned that he would possibly be off to volunteer. It was some country that sounds the same as another country, one being African and the other South American...I always get them mixed up...but for him it was the African nation. He would be off to build a facility or teach business skillz. That is so cool! He is putting me to shame as a humanitarian Aquarius. Forget that...he is putting me to shame period. I suddenly felt incredibly self absorbed. But then I thought. He's got 4 years on me and he's got stuff to give. I'm still trying to get the whole life thing set up, so maybe one day I can do something as incredibly excellent as build a school for kids in Africa. But for now I'll get my self set up and do what I can here.
But my whole point is that my type isn't soley the bad boy. Every once in a while I like a nice one.

TLCI was treated to some much needed TLC today from good friends. Met Junky and she treated me to lunch and we got to chill for the 2nd time in one week! It's a rarity, every week should be reading week. We came back here and fought off napping and attempted to get some work done. Junky got work done. I did not.
Douchebag had contacted me a few days ago and I spoke to him today and he gave me some excellent career advice. I promptly got to work on another resume. I had been stuck on this particular application but our brainstorming got me over the hump.
I thought I would be working away for the rest of the night but just as I finished my new friend Shaggy gave me a ring and dropped by with some sushi. Which totally hit the spot. It's funny when I'm illin' or am in need of comrfort food, I always turn to Asian cuisines. I used to hate Chinese food as a kid and now it's all I want to eat. Thanks to all for the lovin!

maili've been tryign to get better at checking my mail since the insurance fiasco a few weeks ago (lets not even go there). Today I found a package waiting for me, I wasn't expecting anything so it was quite a delight. I pulled it out and it was from the Xbox Fulfillment Centre (yes it was actually called that), my replacement xbox cord has arrived. Now I can plug it back in and not be afraid of burning my house down.

There was more...but it is gone now. Maybe I'll try and post again later.
